Having used the Weedol blue Pathclear crystal sachets to deal with weeks in my gravel drive and crazy paving for a number of years I was disappointed to see that the format had been changed.
Nevertheless, I bought a packet of 8 tubes, at much the same price as the old sachets, assuming that they would be as effective. However, I was dismayed to find that one tubes only makes up 1 litre of solution and it takes four tubes to treat my gravel and paving as opposed to the one sachet that was sufficient before. The old blue crytals worked a treat but I find that the new tubes are much less effective at treating the weeds. I shall have to look for an alternative product since these are expensive and dont do the job.
Do I assume that the chance of formulation is a “health and safety issue” ?

Like Mr Woodward I have always used sachets with no problems and found them extremely economical for my uses, will find an alternative to these tubes for my future requirements.

Weedol 2 was the product described as blue granules and I agree with other posters that it was a great product and gave virtually instant results. Weedol Rootkill takes literally weeks for any noticeable results however it is mixed. I guess that,Weedol 2 was discontinued but I have now seen some listed on Amazon at ridiculous prices unless Platinum is now one of the Ingredients? Please bring it back at a sensible price because Rootkill is not an alternative unless you like looking at weeds for a month before they expire!
